Infrastructure

GTIS Brazil Infrastructure was established in 2018 to pursue the investment opportunities in Brazil in i) Energy Generation and Transmission with a focus on renewable energy and ii) Technology Infrastructure Assets. Both segments benefit from long-term structural demand drivers and large investment gaps. Near term growth in demand for energy from the economic recovery underway in Brazil coupled with limited incumbent competition from public and private capital sources (due to the recent economic and political dislocation), has created a compelling investment climate for players with both capital and operating expertise in the energy sector. Brazil's developing technology infrastructure is supported by robust growth in e-Commerce resulting in rapidly increasing broadband penetration creating long-term demand for data centers. GTIS' fully-integrated US-Brazil platform provides industry leading in-house sourcing, investment analysis, legal and regulatory review, development and asset management capability that are a key source of competitive advantage.
